How would you describe your personal style? I love to be trendy, but comfy too! Lipstick always helps me feel brighter and more put together! I always say when I found red lipstick, I found myself!
What is your favorite thing about doing hair? I have always been inspired by the creativity of it all! I love making people feel good about themselves and making the change they need to love their hair again! I LOVE coloring and a sassy cut too!
What inspired you to be a stylist? I always knew I would do something in a creative field….I had very supportive people in my life that let me do whatever

Why luxe for style? Luxe for style is a dream come true for me. It’s my baby (well one of them) and I am one proud mama! This team and this salon have helped shape who I am and have become!

How would you describe your personal style? Comfortable, versatile, and trendy. I like to be able to go from Work to the gym (or a hike, or a run), and then meet up with friends, without a suitcase of clothes and shoes!
What is your favorite thing about doing hair? I really enjoy making people feel good about themselves. It’s amazing what a good cut/color, or even a genuine conversation can do to lift someone up.
Why luxe for style? After moving across the country in early 2014, and traveling a lot in the past 3 years, Olympia kept calling me home, and I finally listened. Fate, or snow, brought Megan and I together at SEAtac airport, we chatted while waiting for our cancelled flights to rebook. I discovered she was hiring, and I was looking for a salon after just moving back from California. We exchanged numbers, and now, I’m here! This team of women feels like family already. I’m excited to be here!

Educational accomplishments: She attended the salon professional academy and completed an associate program when she graduated. She has taken several classes from L'Oreal professionals and is versed in multiple color lines. She continues to learn consistently through various groups online today.

What is your favorite Redken or Surface product right now? I love the One United spray from Redken! Everyone can use it and it doesn't leave the hair heavy. I cant just pick one product, so the Redken triple dry spray is my next favorite to finish the perfect beachy wave!
What is your favorite thing about doing hair? I love the connections I get to make with people. Doing hair is so much more than hair...its the people you care of while doing it!
Why Luxe for style? Megan recruited me! The vibe promotes a relaxed and professional environment that makes anyone feel like they are loved and welcome!
Whats your guilty pleasure? I can't get enough of TV. Any crime show will suck me right in!

Where do you look for inspiration? My children! I became a mom at a really young age. I learned quickly what it means to put someone else’s needs before your own. Especially, my daughter. She is the strongest, most thoughtful kind young lady. She inspires me to look beyond what meets the eye, everyday! My boys, raising them to be kind, respectful, honest men. My sweet little granddaughters, they have my whole heart.
What inspired you to be a stylist? I grew up in the salon from a really young age, I was dropping perm rods by the time I was 10, and folding towels after school, it’s all I have ever known. I started working as a receptionist in my early 20s at local salon. I loved watching how happy guests were, how excited they were to see their stylist. The change you could make in one persons day!! This industry is so massive, and it’s ever changing! It’s incredible to be a tiny piece of that!

How would you describe your personal style? I would describe my personal style as “city street fashion” with a hint of "rock and roll"
Why Luxe for style? After having moved across the country from Texas, as a hairdresser I began my search for a salon home that embodied what I looked for as a stylist. After reaching out to Megan and getting to have a conversation with her I knew I was in the right place. Yes the salon looks like it belongs on 5th Avenue but the culture and the principles align perfectly with mine. I really feel that at Luxe For Style I wont be another number but a fellow comrade that gets to build up the Luxe team!

What is your favorite Redken or Surface product right now? I’ve always been a fan of the Redken acidic bonding line but lately I’ve been obsessed with the surface blowout protective oil!

Educational accomplishments: Renee has been a curl artist in Washington for the last 3 years specializing in dry cutting curly, coily and kinky hair, and Head Shape Matters certified, She graduated from the Aveda Institute.
Curly Experience: Renee creates a custom shape for curly guests, that is a lot more art than science. Your curls are unique & your haircut should be too! If it’s carving out waves and curls, or delicately clipping kink and coils, Renee uses her eye and experience to uncover the best silhouette for you.

How would you describe your personal style? My style is constantly evolving & fluid. I like to play with masculine and feminine silhouettes depending on my mood. Sometimes I’m feeling daring & feminine, and sometimes I’m feeling playful & boyish and it always shows!
